CHAMBER ANNUAL MEETING ON THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH!!
The Annual Moundridge Chamber of Commerce Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 19 with USDA Rural Development Director, Lynn Hinrichsen being the guest speaker.
USDA Rural Development assists small towns and businesses with loans and grant programs. Hinrichsen will discuss the impact USDA has on communities such as Moundridge.
The event will be held at the Cloud Nine Venue, 205 S. Avenue A and will begin with a social at 6:00 p.m. followed by supper at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person ($10 for kids ages 4 to 10).

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BRADBURY GROUP!!
Congratulations to the Bradbury Group for being inducted into the Wichita Business Journal’s Business Hall of Fame!
The company received the award at the Journal’s Manufacturing, Wholesale and Distribution Awards held on Tuesday, August 27th.
Bradbury is celebrating their 60th Anniversary this year and we are proud to have them as a member of our community.
The BARK PARK OPENS ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th!!!
The Moundridge Bark Park will have a soft opening on Friday, September 6th at 5:30 p.m. with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony.
The new park fencing is up, city crews have installed two water hydrants, the benches have arrived and been assembled. Signs for the two areas of the park for big dogs and small dogs have arrived, but there are still more thing to do such as laying the donor bricks and installing the welcome sign and rules.
With Summer winding down, the Bark Park Committee wanted to get the park opened for the public to utilize this fall. Several play obstacles will be added as well as concrete pads for the benches and other features.
Mark your calendars for September 6th and join us all for the ribbon cutting ceremony!!
P & M PUMPKIN RANCH OPENING DAY IS SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 21!!
P&M Pumpkin Ranch will open for season six on Saturday, September 21st. They will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 311 16th Ave. This year there will be over 30 activities included in the price of general admission.
They are also taking reservations for private campfire sites that are popular for Corporate events, Birthday celebrations, Church groups and Family gatherings. For more information, call 620-345-3103.
THE CITIZENS STATE BANK CUSTOMER APPRECIATION LUNCH!!
The Citizens State Bank Customer Appreciation Lunch is coming up on Wednesday, September 25th! The lunch will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the street just north of the bank.
The street will be blocked from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to make room for the tent, tables and chairs for this event.
COMMUNITY NIGHT OUT MOVED TO OCTOBER!!
Our 2nd Annual Community Night Out event has been moved to Tuesday, October 1st.
The change in date is being made to accommodate area law enforcement personnel from other agencies who will be assisting with the event this year.
The Community Night Out will coincide with the Chambers’ Newcomers Welcome Event where we will welcome new residents who have moved to Moundridge within the past year.
