The McPherson Middle School girls tennis team had a highly successful 2019 season debut when they whitewashed visiting Hutchinson, 15-0, on Tuesday at the Wall Park Tennis Courts.

During the 10 singles matches, the Junior Lady Pups dominated to the point where they lost just five points during the whole day, while the five double tandems did much the same in losing just four points total.

According to Head Coach Paul Reichenberger, the 15-0 score was based off the first ten singles matches and the five double matches that were played.

Next up for the Middle School tennis team will be on Tuesday, September 17 when they travel north to tangle with Salina Lakewood.
