BUHLER â It was a big day on Tuesday for the McPherson High varsity volleyball team as they went to Buhler to battle with two state ranked teams and came home with not just one, but two major victories.
The Lady Bullpups raised their season mark to 11-3 after they took down Circle in straight sets (25-19, 25-16) before battling to the final points before taking down the rival Buhler Lady Crusaders in straight sets (25-20, 29-27).
Next up for the Lady Bullpup spikers will be on Saturday, September 28 when they go on the road to play at the Newton Invitational.
LADY BULLPUP INDIVIDUAL LEADERS @ BUHLER:
Rhian Swanson led the team in kills with 22.
Cassie Cooks had 12 kills.
Katie Berg scored 11 kills.
Brett Doile led the team with 37 assists while also getting 7 digs.
Taylor Casebeer led the team in digs with 19.
Andrea Sweat had 7 digs.
Ella Schmid served up 4 aces.
