9^th Lady Bullpups Go 3-2 at Buhler!

BUHLER – After struggling in two of their first three matches the McPherson High 9^th grade volleyball team closed out the play at the Buhler Invitational on Saturday by winning their final two matches to finish the day at 3-2.

The 9^th Lady Bullpups began the day by taking down Hutchinson in straight sets (25-18, 25-21) before stumbling to both Andale (17-25, 20-25) and Liberal (15-25, 22-25) in straight sets.

McPherson bounced back in their fourth match by dominating Wichita Independent (25-5 25-12).

The 9^th Lady Bullpups were then able to finish out the day on a solid note by out dueling Hutchinson in straight sets (25-16, 25-22) for the second time on the day.

Next up for the 9^th Lady Bullpups will be on Thursday when they host a quad with Augusta, Mulvane and Winfield beginning at 5:00 p.m.
