GOESSEL – Like their senior high counterparts, the Canton/Galva junior high football team stayed unbeaten on Thursday when they went on the road to Goessel and came home with another victory, this time by a score of 40-14, giving the Junior Eagles an unblemished 6-0 mark for the season!

With the victory, the Junior Eagles stay tied for first place in the Wheat State League with Solomon, who is also unbeaten at 6-0 for the season.

Jordan Duncan had the big game for Canton/Galva as he scored three touchdowns, twice by running the ball and once on a pass from Jaden Ediger, while also scoring four two-point conversions and getting credit for 4.5 tackles while playing defense.

Lane McMannis led the Junior Eagles on defense with 14.5 tackles while also scoring two rushing touchdowns and getting one two-point conversion.
