CANTON – On top of being the leader of the top 8-Man Division I football team in the state, Landon Everett can now add 2019 Homecoming King to his mantel of honor as he was named Canton/Galva’s Homecoming King alongside Braylee Doughman as Homecoming Queen for 2019.

Everett, son of Jeff Everett and Kirstie Everett, and Doughman, daughter of Brad and Johni Doughman, were honored at halftime of the Eagles football game with Goessel on Friday evening.

Other members of the Homecoming Royalty were Kinser Colgin, Nick Pearson, Alexa Burch and Jayci Mastre.

Attendants were kindergartners Amelia Norman and Easton Schmidt.

The 2019 theme for homecoming was ‘All-American Homecoming’ and the candidates were brought in using red, white and blue vehicles Members of the American Legion raised the American flag during the National Anthem before the game, and there was a fireworks show after the crowning of the royalty at halftime.

Congratulations to both Landon Everett and Braylee Doughman for the honor.
