BE SAFE, BE SEEN, ON HALLOWEEN!!
Traffic Stop Tuesday Postings are presented by the McPherson Police Department
On Halloween night there will likely be many more young pedestrians out and about Trick or Treating in residential areas.
We ask that you please drive with extra caution, by reducing your speed, and avoiding distractions inside your vehicle as you drive around town.
Be patient and do not pass vehicles that are stopped and may be dropping off children.
If you are transporting Trick or Treaters around town and dropping them off, please use your turn signals as you pull over, and as you pull back onto the roadway.
To reduce traffic congestion on residential streets please park your vehicle, and do not use your vehicle to follow your Trick or Treaters!
Please walk with them or have the Trick or Treaters come back to you. Be watchful for other Trick or Treaters who may dart out from between parked cars and into the roadway!
