MMS WRESTLERS DOMINATE!

MCPHERSON – It was a dominating season home debut for the McPherson Middle School wrestling team as both the varsity and junior varsity rolled to victory over Salina South on Tuesdays, 69-39.

In the varsity match the Junior Pups scored victories in 12 of the 15 matches wrestled, while the junior varsity wrestled out much the same as they earned nine win in twelve matches, giving the Junior Pups a total on the day of 21 wins to just 6 losses.

Next up for the Junior Pup grapplers will be next Tuesday, November 19 when they travel to Hutchinson for a triangular with Hutchinson and Newton-Chisholm, before going to the Clay Center Middle School Invitational on Saturday, November 23.
