4 EARN 1ST TEAM HONORS!!

Four McPherson County area high school volleyball players were named recently to the 2019 first-team all-Wheat State League while two others received honorable mention.

Little River placed three Lady Redskins on the first team, led by seniors Jaylie Bergkamp and Abbie Hudson along with sophomore Lily Boughfman. Canton/Galva had one Lady Eagle earn first team and that was senior Tia Moddelmog who has already signed to run track at the collegiate level at Concordia University in Nebraska.

Given honorable mention honors were Merrick Robinson a junior for Elyria Christian and Jayci Mastre, a senior for Canton/Galva.

Lisa Beye of Herington was named Coach of the Year.

Congrats to our McPherson County area ladies earning honors for a job well done.
