HUTCHINSON – The Inman Junior High girls basketball team went on the road on Thursday and scored a couple of big victories over Central Christian.

The Junior Lady Teutons ‘A’ team dominated the Junior Lady Cougars 43-14. Game was on from the opening tip as the Junior Lady Teutons smothered the home team from the opening tip by racing out to a 23-4 lead going into the halftime break.

After the Junior Lady Cougars out scored the Inman in the third quarter 8-4, the Junior Lady Teutons finished the game with a 16-2 run to gain the 29-point victory.

Leading the Junior Lady Teutons were Kendal Brueggan who reached double digits with 10 points, while Taelyn Freisen and Savannah Smith pitched in with nine and eight points respectively.

In the ‘B’ game it was much the same as the Junior Lady Teutons hammered Central Christian 43-15.

The Junior Lady Teutons will be back on the court one more time before the Thanksgiving break and that will be on Monday when they play host to Berean Academy.
