DEFEAT SALINA LAKEWOOD LOSE TO HUTCHINSON!

MCPHERSON – The McPherson Middle School wrestling team hosted a triangular on Tuesday and split a pair of matches, beating Salina Lakewood before losing by criteria to Hutchinson.

Against Salina Lakewood the Junior Pup grapplers scored a 60-46 victory before tying with Hutchinson at 54-54 and then losing the win to Hutchinson by criteria.

For the Junior Pup varsity, eight of their sixteen wrestlers finished the day unbeaten. Those being unbeaten on the day at 2-0 were John Robben, Copper Holler, Jase Fitzmorris, Christian Clemmons, Landon Thompson, Brock Richardson and Ty Nance while Hunter Wilson went 1-0.

Ten Junior Pup junior varsity wrestlers went 1-0 on the day as well.

After taking a short break for the Thanksgiving holiday, the Junior Pup wrestlers will return to the competitive mat on Tuesday, December 3 when they travel south to battle with Newton-Chisholm.
