INMAN – Current Inman High baseball player Connor Brown has made a decision for his future and that will be to attend Hutchinson Community College while playing on a baseball scholarship.

Brown, currently a senior for the Teutons, recently signed his letter of intent to play baseball for the Hutchinson Community College Blue Dragons for the 2021-2022 seasons.

Brown has been a three-year starter for Teutons baseball team whereas a junior he was named first-team All-State and first-team All-Heart of America as an outfielder.

Some of Browns impressive stats include a .509 batting average, a .586 on base percentage plus a slugging average of .789. Brown also led the team with 11 doubles, scored 26 runs, stole 22 bases and had a fielding percentage of .977, plus putting some time on the pitching mound where he was used as a closer and earned credit for three saves while striking out 41 batters in just 24 innings pitched.

Brown is the son of Jon and Amber Brown of Inman and is pictured signing his letter of intent with his father Jon Brown to the left and Inman baseball coach Matt Mikulecky on the right.

Our congratulations to Connor for all he has done for the Teutons so far as well as what he will contribute this coming spring in his senior season.
