By William

LITTLE RIVER – It was all over from practically the opening tip on Tuesday for the Little River boys basketball team as they totally dismantled Peabody/Burns by 41-points in earning a 68-27 home court victory.

The Redskins jumped on the visitors from the opening tip, running out to a whopping 23-point, 27-4 lead by the end of the first quarter of play. By adding another 23 points in the second quarter while holding the visitors to just 10, the game was pretty much over with by halftime as the Redskins held a 50-14 advantage going into the break. Little River continued to build on the lead in the final two quarters despite taking their foot of the pedal just a bit in scoring the 41-point win.

Jayden Garrison had another huge game for the Redskins by pouring in 25 points, including three three-pointers. Garrison also led the team in rebounds with six and steals with four. A total of nine Redskin players put points by their name in the scorebook during the game, including two more with double digits as Braxton Lafferty hit for 12 and Trey Rolfs had 10.
