WRESTLING AT WICHITA, MANHATTAN

The MAC Wrestling Club had a busy and successful weekend as they scored nine wrestlers with top-four finishes at tournaments in Wichita and Manhattan.

At the Little Apple Classic Open and Girls Tournament in Manhattan Cooper Reves scored a championship medal in 12-under division at 100-105 lbs. Colt Harlin also earned a second-place medal at the same tournament.

In Wichita at the Bishop Carroll Open/Novice Tournament, four members of the MAC Wrestling Club took second-place medals, including Elijah Robinson, Khylen Sanderson, Towns Delaney, and Julian Glover.

At an event not reported to us previously, Gavin Montagne took first-place in the 8-under, 64 lbs. division at the Marysville Kids Open and Girls Tournament in Marysville, KS. on Saturday, January 5.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE MAC WRESTLING CLUB?

The MAC Wrestling Club will have wrestlers competing next on Saturday, January 25 in Salina at the Salina Tournament of Champions.

 

MAC WRESTLING CLUB INDIVIDUAL RESULTS:

At the Marysville Kids Open & Girls Tournament in Marysville, Ks on Saturday, January 5:

1st Place – Gavin Montagne, 8-under, 64 lbs.

At the Bishop Carroll Open/Novice Tournament in Wichita, KS on Saturday, January 11:

2nd Place – Elijah Robinson, 6-under, 40 lbs.-B Novice.

2nd Place – Khylen Sanderson, 6-under, 49 lbs.-D Novice.

2nd Place – Towns Delaney, 8-under, 64-67 lbs.-A Novice.

2nd Place – Julian Glover, 12-under, 88 lbs. – Open.

4th Place – Drace Stupka, 6-under, 49 lbs. – E Novice.

Also participating were Gavin Williams and Aiden Smith.

1st Place – Cooper Reves, 12-under, 100-105 lbs.

2nd Place – Colt Harlin, 10-under, 100 lbs. – A.

3rd Place – Noah Garcia, 10-under, 76 lbs. – A.

4th Place – Jaxon Chrislip, 10-under, 85-90 lbs. – A.

Also participating in Manhattan was Parker Hulvey.
