While recovery numbers are great news, McPherson County is still at high risk for community spread.

As Secretary of Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Dr. Norman, announced earlier today – this is not the time to come out of quarantine and try to get back to normal. COVID-19 will likely continue to raise its ugly head in our communities.

McPherson County residents are encouraged to help the community and our health care system flatten the curve and slow the spread of coronavirus. We can do this by:

  • Following the Stay-At-Home Order.
  • Covering all facial areas when coughing or sneezing.
  • Washing your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds with soap and water.
