TODAY WE TALK ABOUT STALL PARKING!!

Traffic Stop Tuesday Postings are presented by the McPherson Police Department

This Tuesday they are talking about ‘STALL PARKING’.

We have one last parking ordinance to highlight the month of April and that is STALL PARKING.

There are many areas with STALL PARKING throughout the city of McPherson – however, the highest volume of STALL PARKING is on or near Main Street and in the business district.

Standard Traffic Ordinance 89, on STALL PARKING states:

  • Where parking stalls or spaces are marked or designated on the pavement or curb, vehicles shall be parked or stopped within such stalls or spaces in the direction of the flow of traffic or at the angle indicated by the markings, except a motorcycle shall park so that the motorcycle’s back wheel touches or is next to the curb or the curb line.
