TOPEKA – After just putting out a change from phase 1 to Phase 1.5 that began on Monday, May 18, the governor of Kansas, Laura Kelly, has already announced jumping to Phase 2 beginning on Friday, May 22.

Among the businesses that will now be open are state run Casinos, indoor leisure establishments, and fitness center or health clubs. A full listing is found below.

Among the businesses that are still unable to open are bars and nightclubs.

According to McPherson City Officials – No local order will be more restrictive than the orders by the Governor. City Officials are also strongly recommending that all self-serve food/beverages facilities remain closed unless strict cleaning and sanitizing practices can be maintained.
