COACH LOOKING FOR PATIENCE & COMMITMENT

By William

LOST SPRINGS – It was rough road trip for the Little River volleyball team on Tuesday as they went to Lost Springs and lost to both Rural Vista and Centre.

Against Rural Vista, the Lady Redskins were beaten in straight sets 16-25, 12-25 before losing again in straight sets to host Centra 17-25, 22-25.

“We are focusing on finding the right chemistry and practicing consistency for both our team and individually,” noted Lady Redskin Head Coach Kim Rolfs. “I would interpret my team right now, as we play tough competition as very ‘green’. It is a process that these girls have committed to and understand. We are going to have our peaks and valleys but staying the course and working to get better is what we need to focus on.”

Coach Rolfs concluded her reflections by saying, “I have been pleased with the work ethic of the girls. Playing at a high level is going to take time and if this team can develop some patience and commitment to get there, we will be playing our best volleyball in October which is exactly what every coach wants.”

Next up for the Lady Redskin spikers will be another road trip on Thursday, September 17 to Ellsworth.
