GARRISON, KONEN, STEPHENS LEADS LITTLE RIVER

SOLOMON – The Little River football team finished the 2020 regular season on a strong positive path as they went on the road and dismantled Solomon 64-0 on Friday to finish the season 6-2.
The Redskins finished the game by halftime by scoring a whopping 36 points in the first quarter and then adding on another 28 in the second quarter on a total of nine touchdowns.
Offensively, Little River recorded 343 yards on 30 plays while their defense held Solomon to just 135 on 35 plays while making two interceptions and recording two fumble recoveries.
Jayden Garrison led the Redskins with 89 yards rushing on four carries while scoring three times on runs of 37, 16 and 8 yards. Garrison also caught a 35-yard pass for a fourth score while also throwing for 19-yard score to Grant Stephens.
Rylan Konen rambled for 64 yards on six carries and a pair of touchdowns while Graham Stephens threw for a score and ran for two more while covering 50 yards on four carries.
The Little River defense was led by Garrison, Toby Jesseph, Braden Young, Grant Stephens and Cade Young.
