MCPHERSON – According to the current listings found on the public website for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), McPherson County has eight (8) facilities listed as Cluster Exposure Facilities.

Among those eight are three (3) schools, four (4) senior home/care facilities, and one (1) other industry.

These are all situations that have reported numbers of five or more within the past 14 days.

The three schools listed include:

  • Soderstrom Elementary School of Smoky Valley USD 400 in Lindsborg with 5 active cases.
  • Central Christian College in McPherson with 7 active cases.
  • Bethany College in Lindsborg with 13 active cases.

The four (4) senior home/care facilities listed include:

  • Pleansant View Home in McPherson with 5 active cases.
  • Moundridge Manor in Moundridge with 7 active cases.
  • Pine Village in Moundridge with 8 active cases.
  • Bethany Village in Lindsborg with 6 active cases.

The one other industry is MCDS of McPherson which has reported 10 active cases.

  • Latest numbers show McPherson County has 37.2 positive tests per 1,000 tests taken (the state of Kansas is currently showing an average of 44.14 positive cases per 1,000 tests).
