MCPHERSON – According to the current listings posted Wednesday morning on the public website for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), McPherson County has seven (7) facilities listed as Cluster Exposure Facilities.

Among those seven (7) are two (2) colleges, three (3) long term care facilities, one (1) healthcare facility, and one (1) manufacturing company.

These seven (7) facilities totaled 82 active cases with each facility having to have at least five (5)  onset active cases reported withing the past 14 days.

Those facilities listed are:

Bethany College in Lindsborg with seven (7) current active cases.

Central Christian College in McPherson with five (5) current active cases.

MCDS of McPherson with eleven (11) current active cases.

Bethany Village in Lindsborg with fourteen (14) current active cases.

Pine Village in Moundridge with seven (7) current active cases.

The Cedars in McPherson with thirty-one (31) current active cases.

Johns-Manville in McPherson with seven (7) current active cases.

  • Latest numbers show McPherson County has 46.3 positive tests per 1,000 tests taken (the state of Kansas is currently showing an average of 50.73 positive cases per 1,000 tests).
  • McPherson County is currently showing a testing rate of 225.1 per 1,000 residences.
