MCPHERSON – The McPherson Middle School 7th grade girls basketball teams continue to win on Monday as they hosted Clay Center and scored two more big victories.

In the 7th grade Junior Lady Pups ‘A’ game, they scored an overwhelming dominate 47-point, 55-8, victory led by four players scoring in double digits. The victory gives the ‘A’ team an overall season record of 10-2.

Leading the way were Brooke Doile with 14, while both Maryn Sandbo and Ava Romero each scored 11 and Addysen Patrick chipped in with 10. Eight total players put points by their name in the scorebook.

For the ‘B’ game, the 7th grade Junior Lady Pups had to play a lot closer game but still managed to beat Clay Center 26-17 to raise their season mark to 7-2.

Despite the lower score, eight Junior Lady Pups pitched in with putting points on the scoreboard with Jasmyn Evans and Addison Shaft leading the way with six points each while Kamri Shipman had five.

Next up for the McPherson Middle School 7th grade Junior Lady Pups will be on Thursday, December 10 when they go on the road to play Salina Lakewood.
