LUCAS LEADS SMOKY VALLEY

The Smoky Valley boys made it a game for the first half before Southeast of Saline buried them in the third quarter and beat the Vikings by 28-points at 65-37.

Southeast of Saline only lead by two at 17-15 at the end of the first quarter, but the Vikings could only put six points on the board in the second quarter and ended up trailing 29-21 at the halftime break.

The Vikings were burned for 24 points in the third quarter by Southeast of Saline while only scoring eight giving them a commanding 53-29 lead and enabled them to cruise to the victory.

Only one of six Vikings who had points in the scorebook reached double digits and that was Jake Lucas.

Next up for the Vikings will be a road game at Concordia on Monday, December 14.
