SWEEP TWO FROM SALINA LAKEWOOD

SALINA – The McPherson Middle School girls basketball team continues to roll through their schedule in dominating fashion as they swept two games on the road Thursday at Salina Lakewood.

For the 7th grade Junior Lady Pups ‘A’ team, they raised their season mark to 11-2 with a 31-point, 41-10 pounding of Salina Lakewood.

Both Ava Romero and Adelynne Strecker reached double digits in scoring with 14 and 10 points respectively to lead the team.

In the ‘B’ game, it was another dominating win as the Junior Lady Pups scored a 14-point, 33-19 win over Salina Lakewood as seven girls put points in the scorebook led by Kamri Shipman with 13 and Jasmyn Evans with 10. With the victory, the ‘B’ team pushed its season mark to 8-2.

Next up for the McPherson Middle School 7th grade Junior Lady Pups will be another road trip on Monday, December 14 when they head south to battle with Maize South.
