GARRISON, ROLFS LEAD LITTLE RIVER

It was game that was never in doubt on Saturday as the Little River boys basketball team won the Goessel Bluebird Classic in the fashion of a number one ranked team when they demolished Elyria Christian 46-20.
The Redskins went up 26-13 at halftime before cruising in for the 26-point victory as they held the Eagle offense to four-points or less in three of four quarters.
Jayden Garrison led the Redskins with 13 points as he connected on five-of-six from the field while pulling down four rebounds and passing our four assists.
Trey Rolfs also reached double digits with 10 points much thanks to a pair of three pointers while Graham Stephens also hit a pair of threes and finished with eight points.
Braxton Lafferty had a full night with his stat sheet as he scored six, led the team in rebounds with six, made three steals and blocked two shots.
Next up for Little River will be on the road at Moundridge on Friday.
