“The boys squeaked out another win today against a big Hays team,” pointed out 7th grade Junior Pup Head Coach Paul Reichenberger. “All game long, we were down but not out before the boys finally closed the gap in the fourth quarter by speeding by Hays up with a press and creating turnovers. Jett (Pyle) led the way with 16 points which included the game winning shot with just four seconds to go in the overtime. Cade (Strathman) and Kaizer (Kanitz) were great at penetration and shots at the rim.”

Coach Reichenberger concluded his game reflections by saying, “Overall, I am very proud of the boys for battling hard all day and coming out on top. The coaches have been challenging the ‘A’ team to learn from their mistakes and play hard and today they did exactly that. It’s time to build on this momentum.”

All things that can be fixed with more practice.”
