BELL, PETERSON LEAD LADY EAGLES

SEDGWICK – It was a really rough night for the Canton/Galva girls basketball team in their first-round game Tuesday at the Sedgwick Invitational Girls Tournament as they lost to Clearwater 62-28.
The Lady Eagles did have a few highlights as Alexa Bell once again had a strong night on offense by leading the team in scoring with 15 points while Emily Peterson held her own in the paint by pulling down eight rebounds. Bell also had the quick hands on defense as he led Canton/Galva with three steals.
The loss drops the Lady Eagles to 3-7 for the season as they now prep for their game on Thursday.
