OLANDER LEADS LITTLE RIVER, NEUFELDS LEAD INMAN

INMAN – The Little River girls played four quarters of consistent basketball on their way to gaining a 40-22 road victory over Inman on Friday.

Leading by five at 8-3 at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Redskins had a six-point advantage over the Lady Teutons going into the halftime break before out scoring Inman 25-13 in the final two quarters to earn the final 18-point win.

Aubrey Olander led Little River with 11 points while both MeKenzie Renken and Lily Boughfman each chipped in with eight. Olander also led the Lady Redskins in the paint with seven rebounds while Renken grabbed five. Both Renken and Amaya Sneath had four steals as the Lady Redskin defense totaled 17 swipes for the game.

Nobody reached double digits for the Lady Teutons as both Raegan and Maci Neufeld led the team with six points each.

Now 16-3 for the season, the Lady Redskins close out the regular season next week with a Thursday game at home with Elyria Christian.

Inman now sits at 7-10 on the year and will close out their regular season next week with road games at Remington on Monday and at Herington on Tuesday.
