MCPHERSON – On Tuesday morning, the McPherson County Health Department released the newest Coronavirus/COVID-19 Report showing 10 new cases in the seven days since the report on Tuesday, March 30.

More good news comes from the report noting that there is only 1 individual currently hospitalized due to the pandemic.

The report also noted that 1 new death was reported.

The vaccine report shows 9,968 vaccines have been received and distributed for use in McPherson County as of April 6.

Full breakdown of all the numbers are as follows.

CASES TESTING POSITIVE & OTHER DATA #’S as of TUESDAY, APRIL 6:

McPherson County has now recorded 3,260 positive cases overall according to the Tuesday report.

Of those 3,260 cases, 3,161 are now considered recovered according to the recovery guidelines set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment or passed away while sick. This means the cases in McPherson County that are still considered active is 13.

Tuesday’s report does show that McPherson County still has one (1) individual currently hospitalized due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19, while also reporting that there was one more death being reported.
