ELYRIA LADY EAGLES FINISH 1ST AT FAIRFIELD

OLIVIA PETERS EARNS 4 GOLDS

FAIRFIELD – At the Peabody/Burns track invitational on Tuesday at Fairfield, the Elyria Christian girls put on a show as they won the girls division while bringing home five individual gold medals and then swept all three relays.

Olivia Peters was the star for the Lady Eagles as she earned three individual golds for winning the 100, 200, and 400 meter runs and then ran the final leg of the winning 4×100 meter relay along.

Also earning individual gold was Kayla Peters with a win in the 300-meter hurdles, and Hannah Froese who won the high jump.

Joining Olivia Peters on the first place 4×100 meter relay team were Macy Reiff, Kayla Peters, and Ashley Koehn.

The Lady Eagles also won the 4×400 meter relay running with Reiff, Olivia Clark, Kilynn Starburg and Allie Stone. Stone and Clark joined up with Ashley Koehn and Megan Koehn to also win gold in the 4×800 meter relay as well.

The Elyria girls also gained four second-place finishes, four third place finishes and five fourth place finishes.

In the boys division, no team points were available, and the Eagles only placed within the top-six in four events with the quartet of James Schott, Johnny Unruh, Keyan Wiggers and Josh Allen taking third place in both the 4×100 and 4×400 meter relays.

The Eagle track/field team will be back on the competitive track on Tuesday, April 20 when they participate in the Halstead Invitational.

4X100 Meter Relay Team:

4×400 Meter Relay Team:

• Finished 1^st with Macy Reiff, Olivia Clark, Kilynn Starburg, and Allie Stone running.

4×800 Meter Relay Team:

• Finished 1^st with Ashley Koehn, Megan Koehn, Kilynn Starburg, and Olivia Clark running.

Olivia Peters = Placed 1^st in the 100 Meters, 1^st in the 200 Meters, & 1^st in the 400 Meters.

Kayla Peters = Placed 1^st in the 300 Meter Hurdles, 2^nd in the 1,600 Meters, & 2^nd in the High Jump.

Hannah Froese = Finished 1^st in the High Jump, & 4^th in the Long Jump.

Allie Stone = Finished 2^nd in the 100 Meters, 3^rd in the 200 Meters, & 3^rd in the 400 Meters.

Ryland Hawkinson = Finished 2^nd in the Shot Put, 3^rd in the Javelin, & 5^th in the Discus.

Ashley Koehn = Finished 3^rd in the 100 Meters.

Hannah Bower = Finished 4^th in the High Jump, & 5^th in the 800 Meters.

Megan Koehn = Finished 4^th in the 200 Meters, & 6^th in the 100 Meters.

Olivia Clark = Finished 4^th in the 400 Meters.

Julia Allen = Finished 4^th in the Discus.

Macy Reiff = Finished 5^th in the 100 Meters.
