MCPHERSON – On Thursday, the McPherson County Health Department released the new numbers regarding Coronavirus/COVID-19 and it shows seven (7) new cases since the full report on Tuesday.

The brief report shows that McPherson County has now recorded 3,285 cases with 3,174 claiming to be considered recovered according to the recovery guidelines set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment or passed away while sick.

Currently, McPherson County has 21 cases considered active.

The report also shows no new hospitalizations and no new deaths.

UPDATED CASE DATA (# change since last report on Tuesday, April 13):

  • New cases since last public release = 7
  • Cases with known exposure = 1, 725 (+ 4)
  • Cases with an unknown exposure = 1,560 (+ 3)
  • Cases involving those individuals 60 years and older = 991 (no change)
  • Cases involving those individuals 50-59 years old = 450 (no change)
  • Cases involving those individuals 40-49 years old = 425 (+ 3)
  • Cases involving those individuals 30-39 years old = 420 (+ 1)
  • Cases involving those individuals 18-29 years old = 661 (+ 1)
  • Cases involving those individuals under 18 years old = 338 (+ 2)
  • Female involved cases = 1,716 (+ 4)
  • Male involved cases = 1,569 (+ 3)
  • Those cases requiring Hospitalization (May not represent current hospitalizations) = 132 (+ 1)
  • Those cases requiring ventilation (May not represent any current ventilated cases) = 21 (no change)
  • Those cases resulting an individual’s death = 88 (+ 2)
  • Male COVID patients who have died by ages (58 total, + 1): 90+ (11); 80-89 (19); 70-79 (14); 60-69 (9); 50-59 (1); 40-49 (2); 30-39 (2)
  • Female COVID patients who have died by age (30 total, + 1): 90+ (12); 80-89 (11); 70-79 (3); 60-69 (4); 50-59 (0); 40-49 (0); 30-39 (0)

  • Total Vaccinations Given: 1,564,848
  • Total # of COVID-19/Coronavirus Cases: 304,719
  • Total # of Deaths: 4,930
  • Total # that have been Hospitalized: 9,872
