MCPHERSON – On Tuesday, April 27, the McPherson County Health Department showed that there were 12 new cases of COVID-19/Coronavirus within McPherson County since the previous Tuesday.

The brief report shows that McPherson County has now recorded 3,303 cases with 3,202 claiming to be considered recovered according to the recovery guidelines set forth by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment or passed away while sick.

Currently, McPherson County has 13 cases considered active.

The report also shows no new hospitalizations with one still hospitalized and no new deaths.

(Please note that we only report the numbers available from the McPherson County Health Department, if some of them do not add up – remember it is their numbers, not ours – we are just reporting them.)

UPDATED CASE DATA (# change since last report on Tuesday, April 20):

  • New cases since last public release = 12
  • Cases with known exposure = 1, 737 (+ 10)
  • Cases with an unknown exposure = 1,568 (+ 5)
  • Cases involving those individuals 60 years and older = 992 (no change)
  • Cases involving those individuals 50-59 years old = 450 (no change)
  • Cases involving those individuals 40-49 years old = 425 (no change)
  • Cases involving those individuals 30-39 years old = 422(no change)
  • Cases involving those individuals 18-29 years old = 664 (+ 2)
  • Cases involving those individuals under 18 years old = 344 (+ 4)
  • Female involved cases = 1,727 (+ 7)
  • Male involved cases = 1,576 (+ 5)
  • Those cases requiring Hospitalization (May not represent current hospitalizations) = 132 (no change)
  • Those cases requiring ventilation (May not represent any current ventilated cases) = 21 (no change)
  • Those cases resulting an individual’s death = 88 (no change)
  • Male COVID patients who have died by ages (58 total, no change): 90+ (11); 80-89 (19); 70-79 (14); 60-69 (9); 50-59 (1); 40-49 (2); 30-39 (2)
  • Female COVID patients who have died by age (30 total, no change): 90+ (12); 80-89 (11); 70-79 (3); 60-69 (4); 50-59 (0); 40-49 (0); 30-39 (0)
