ELYRIA JUNIOR EAGLES GET 10 GOLDS AT GOESSEL

GOESSEL – The Elyria Christian Junior High track/field teams went to Goessel on Thursday and came home with 10 gold medals including four from the 7^th grade Junior Lady Eagles.

Grace Prescott, Laney Reiff, and Laura Peters all scored individual first place finishes for the 7^th grade Junior Lady Eagles while the three plus Hope Willems teamed up to win the 800 sprint Medley as well. Prescott and Reiff also had a 2^nd place finish on the day as well.

Raegan Hawkinson got gold for the 8^th grade Junior Lady Eagles by winning the shot put while Londyn Olsen finished second in the 3,200 meters and both Natalie Jader in the 1,600 meters and Addison Swenson in the 800 meters earned third place finishes.

For the 7^th grade Eagle boys, Luke Lockhart had the best day with a first place finish in the long jump while Ryan Cass placed second in the 200 meters and the 800 spring medley team of Emmitt Neufeldt, Colby Hall, Cass and Lockhart also earned second.

Landon Schneider had the highlight for the 8^th grade Eagle boys with a win in the 100 meter hurdles while he also finished second in the high jump and Andrew Huxman placed second in the 800 meters.

ELYRIA CHRISTIAN 7^TH GRADE LADY EAGLES =

• Grace Prescott = 1^st in 100 Meters; 2^nd in 400 Meters.
• Laney Reiff = 1^st in 200 Meters; 2^nd in 800 Meters.
• Laura Peters = 1^st in 1,600 Meters; 3^rd in 800 Meters.
• Team = 1^st in 800 Sprint Medley with Laura Peters, Hope Willems, Grace Prescott, and Laney Reiff.

ELYRIA CHRISTIAN 8^TH GRADE LADY EAGLES =

• Raegan Hawkinson = 1^st in Shot Put; 5^th in Discus; 5^th in 400 Meters.
• Londyn Olsen = 2^nd in 3,200 Meters; 5^th in 800 Meters.
• Natalie Jader = 3^rd in 1,600 Meters.
• Addison Swenson = 3^rd in 800 Meters; 4^th in 400 Meters; 4^th in Long Jump.
• Carlie Joe Rohaus = 4^th in Shot Put.
• Team = 4^th in 800 Sprint Medley with Londyn Olsen, Natalie Jader, Addison Swenson, and Raegan Hawkinson.

ELYRIA CHRISTIAN 7^TH GRADE EAGLE BOYS =

• Luke Lockhart = 1^st in Long Jump; 3^rd in 400 Meters.
