BENNINGTON – The Moundridge track/field team went to Bennington on Friday and brought home seven gold medals to go with a fourth place finish by the Wildcat boys and a seventh place finish for the Lady Wildcats.

Twenty of the Lady Wildcats 24 team points came from Myiah Logue as she won both the long jump and the triple jump.

For the Wildcat boys, Corbin Unruh also won two gold medals by winning the 100 and 200 meters while Caleb Samlund took first in the 400 meters and both the Wildcat 4×100 and 4×400 relay teams also placed first, giving the boys 67 points and a fourth place finish behind Inman, Berean Academy and Hutchinson Trinity.

Next up will be Class 2A regionals at Leon/Bluestem on Friday, May 21.
