HUTCHINSON – The Inman softball team closed out their 2021 season on Monday when they lost 15-0 to Marion in the Class 2-1A Regionals.
Marion jumped on the Lady Teutons for 10 runs in the first inning and then added three more in the second and two in the fourth to gain the 15-0 victory.
The Lady Teutons did not help themselves by committing four errors on defense and having Emma Brown walk six while giving up just six hits and eight earned runs with three strikeouts working the mound.
Jaylah Hurley had the lone hit for the Lady Teutons as Marion pitcher, Chisholm Waner hog tagged the Inman hitters with the one-hit shutout.
The Lady Teutons close out their 2021 season with a record of 5-14.
