CANTON – While the Canton/Galva track/field teams may not have the largest contingent of athletes at the Saturday Class 1A State Meet, they could still score some team points and make a little noise while doing so.

Leading the way for the Lady Eagles will be the lone entrée, Mimi Craig, who won the girls shot put at the regionals and enters the state meet ranked third, giving her a major opportunity to score some team points and shake up the event standings.

For the Eagle boys, leading the way will be Tyson Struber who finished second and third at regionals in the 100 and 200 meters and will be ranked in the top ten of each event in both events while looking to score some solid points for Canton/Galva.
