GOESSEL – The Canton/Galva volleyball team continues to struggle in finding victories while they continue to show improvement as a team as they lost four straight matches on Saturday at the Goessel Tournament.

In the first match of the day, the Lady Eagles lost in straight sets to Sedgwick (14-25, 13-25) before losing again in straight sets to Central Christian (8-25, 12-25).

Against Burrton, Canton/Galva scored a moral victory by winning the first set 25-16 before losing two tough sets 23-25, 21-25.

The Lady Eagles closed out the day with another solid performance despite losing in straight sets to Fairfield (19-25, 22-25).

Next up for the Lady Eagle Spikers will be on Tuesday when they travel to Little River to battle with Little River, Goessel, and Elyria Christian.
