CANTON – On Tuesday, the Little River volleyball team traveled east to Canton where they battled Peabody/Burns and Centre in league matches, coming home with two dominating victories.
In the first match with Peabody/Burns, the Lady Redskins dominated in winning (25-11, 25-10) in straight sets before doing the same in the second match of the evening, rolling past Centra in straight sets (25-12, 25-14).
Here were the Lady Redskin Stat leaders for the evening:
Lily Boughfman scored 13 kills, made 13 digs and hit 5 serve aces.
Elsie Boughfman scored 7 kills and recorded 8 blocks.
Kate Ellwood had 28 assists.
Mae DeBaere made 12 digs.
Alaina Eck scored 9 kills.
Aubrey Olander scored 4 kills and recorded 5 blocks.
Ashley Stephenson scored 3 kills and recorded 2 blocks.
Kami Grasser scored 2 kills and recorded 2 blocks.
Next up for the Lady Redskin spikers will be a return trip to Canton/Galva on Saturday for the eight-team Canton/Galva Invitational.
