CANTON – Five touchdowns in the third quarter broke the game open for the Canton/Galva football team on Thursday as they scored a 60-14 win at home over Doniphan West in the first round of the 8-Man Division I state playoffs.

Canton/Galva bounced back with three first quarter scores of their own on forty-five and twenty-one yard runs by Garrett Maltbie sandwiched around a 15-yard scoring pass from Maltbie to Tyson Struber.
