MCPHERSON – In their latest Covid Report released on Tuesday afternoon, November 16, the McPherson County Health Department reports an increase of 105 new Covid-19/Coronavirus Cases in the seven (7) days since their previous report on Tuesday, November 9.

With this report the county has now recorded an overall total of 4,843 Covid-19/Coronavirus cases with 4,619 being considered recovered while the report also shows 126 active cases.

Currently there are five (5) individuals hospitalized due to Covid-19/Coronavirus which means the overall total of those requiring hospitalization is 204.

On a positive note, no new deaths were reported.

Another note with the latest report is the fact that 95 of the new cases came from a known source.

Of the current 105 new cases, 29.5% of them or 31 cases came from those individuals aged 0-17. Individuals over the age of 60 reported 17 new cases while those aged 30-39 had 16. All six of the age groups recorded reported double digit increases in new cases this past week.

There was another slight increase in the percentage of those vaccinated as it now stands at 51.3%.

Breakthrough cases increased by 27 to 299 while those breakthrough cases requiring hospitalization did not increase.

  • Cases with an unknown exposure = 2,134 (+ 9)
  • Cases involving those individuals 60 years and older = 1,315 (+ 17)
  • Cases involving those individuals 50-59 years old = 596 (+ 13)
  • Cases involving those individuals 40-49 years old = 625 (+ 13)
  • Cases involving those individuals 30-39 years old = 653 (+ 16)
  • Cases involving those individuals 18-29 years old = 977 (+ 15)
  • Cases involving those individuals under 18 years old = 677 (+ 31)
  • Female involved cases = 2,507 (+ 57)
  • Male involved cases = 2,336 (+ 48)
  • Those cases requiring Hospitalization (May not represent current hospitalizations) = 204 (+ 3)
  • Those cases resulting an individual’s death = 98 (No Change)
  • COVID-19/Coronavirus Patients who have died by age = 90+ (24); 80-89 (31); 70-79 (21); 60-69 (15); 50-59 (3); 40-49 (2); 30-39 (2); 20-29 (0); 10-19 (0); 0-9 (0).
