ABILENE – The Smoky Valley girls wrestling team went on the road Friday to Abilene and returned home with a pair of first place finishes.
Both Kenzlie Crain and Lydia Peterson, wrestling at 101 and 155 pounds went 2-0 for the day and finished first in their divisions.
Rylie Tolle at 170 and Madi Tolle at 191 each brought home a 2nd place finish in their weight divisions.
The Smoky Valley wrestlers are now off until after the holiday break when they will return to the mat with a home meet on Thursday, January 6.
LADY VIKING INDIVIDUAL RESULTS AT ABILENE:
101 lbs. = Kenzlie Crain finished 2-0, placed 1st.
109 lbs. = Noelle Peters went 0-2, placed 3rd.
120 lbs. = Taytum Reed went 0-2, placed 3rd.
138 lbs. = Alaina Haigh went 1-2, placed 3rd.
155 lbs. – Lydia Peterson finished 2-0, placed 1st.
170 lbs. – Rylie Tolle went 1-1, placed 2nd.
191 lbs. – Madi Tolle went 1-1, placed 2nd.
