PEABODY – In a rescheduled game from December, the Little River boys went on the road Monday and dominated Peabody/Burns to the tune of a 22-point, 55-33 victory.
The Redskins jumped out to a 13-5 first quarter lead before dominating the second quarter and building their advantage to 26 points at 32-6 heading into the halftime break.
After increasing the lead to 28 by the end of the third quarter, the Redskins allowed Peabody/Burns to outscore them by six in the final eight minutes of play but still recorded the 22-point win.
Braxton Lafferty led the offense with 20 points while both Kyle Bruce and Rylan Konen also reached double digits with 12 and 11 points, respectively.
