SOLOMON = The Little River girls, ranked #4 in Class 1A Division I, went on the road ahead of the weather on Tuesday and scored a dominating 48-point, 62-14 win over Solomon.

With the win the Lady Redskins now hold a glistening 13-1 record for the season as they prep to play host to Canton/Galva on Friday.

Taking a 16-point, 21-5 lead by the end of the first quarter, the Lady Redskins put another 26 points on the board in the second quarter to hold a 47-12, 35-point advantage heading to the halftime break.

Little River connected on 56% of their shots from the field, including hitting four-of-ten from beyond the three-point line while on offense. The team dished out a total of 19 assists on the 27 made shots from the field. On defense, the Lady Redskins made 20 steals.

Aubrey Olander led the Lady Redskins with 20 points and six rebounds while Lily Boughfman joined her in double digits scoring with 13.

Raelynn Welsh and Alaina Eck directed the offense with four assists each while Elsie Boughfman recorded six steals on defense.

In truly a team effort, eight Lady Redskins put at least two points in the scorebook while 10 recorded at least one assist, nine scored a minimum of two rebounds and six had steals.
