LOST SPRINGS – After sluggish first half the Little River boys turned up the offense and rolled past Centre on the road Tuesday, winning by 34, 61-27.

The win raises the Redskin season record to 11-4 as they prep to play host to Elyria Christian on Friday. The Elyria boys will come into the game with a 13-2 mark and ranked #3 in Class 1A Division II.

Holding a five-point, 11-6 lead at the end of the first quarter, Little River pushed the advantage out to eight, 23-15 by the halftime break before turning the offense up a few notches and putting 38 points on the scoreboard in the second half to gain the final 34-point victory.

As a team, the Redskins shot a blistering 53% from the field while out rebounding Centre 32-21 plus making 21 steals and blocking three shots on defense as they forced Centre into turning the ball over 20 times.

Both Allen Burrola and Logan Renken reached double figures in the scorebook with 14 and 13 points, respectively. Burrola also dished out four assists, pulled down five rebounds, grabbed a couple of steals and blocked a pair of shots.

Braxton Lafferty just missed double digits with nine points while Rylan Konen topped the team in rebounds with seven. Dalton Mantz scored seven points but led the team in offense by dishing out six assists while also recording six rebounds and leading the team in steals with five.
