CANTON – The Inman volleyball team opened their 2022 season on Tuesday on the road at Canton/Galva and came home with two dominating victories.
In the first match with Centre, the Lady Teutons hammered away for dominating straight wins 25-8, 25-7.
Against host Canton/Galva, Inman had to work for the win in set one, 25-16, before putting the Lady Eagles away in convincing fashion in set two, 25-6.
According to the Inman coaches three Lady Teutons had strong performances in both matches:
- Suttyn Harris, just a freshman, went 23/44 on kill/attacks while making 11 blocks and six digs in two dominant matches.
- Chloe Schmidt finished 7/9 on kill/attacks with four blocks.
- Kambrey Woods went 30 of 31 on serves while recording 36 assists.
Coming up next for the Lady Teutons will be a road trip to Bennington on Tuesday, September 6.
