            INMAN – On Tuesday, the fourth ranked volleyball team in Class 2A, Inman, hosted Hutchinson Trinity and put the hammer on the visitors in a straight set dual victory, winning 25-6, 25-10.

            “The girls played good and played smart,” said Lady Teuton head coach Megan Heckel. “The second match we made a goal and held the other team to our goal.”

            Seven Lady Teutons were cited by the coaches for strong stats and play in the dual, including Suttyn Harris who recorded 28 kills on 50 attacks while also making seven digs and blocking two and Chloe Schmidt who recorded eight kills on 18 attacks to go with six blocks.

            Kambrey Woods directed the team and dished out 37 assists, on serves, Madelyn Brunk went 34/35 with four aces and Maci Neufeld went 24/24 on serves with a pair of aces along with making seven and 12 digs, respectively. Both Alyssa Johnson and Kenna Woods also went perfect in serves with Alyssa hitting 14/14 with four aces and Kenna getting 11/11 while the two combined to make 19 digs.

            The Lady Teuton junior varsity also won in straight sets, 25-15, 25-21.      

            Now 14-2 for the season according to maxpreps.com, the Lady Teutons will be back on the court next Tuesday when they host Berean Academy.
