            ANDALE – There is a reason why Andale is ranked number one in Class 3A, and they proved the point on Friday when they put a big hurt on visiting Smoky Valley with a 57-8 win over the Vikings.

            Smoky Valley is now 2-2 for the season as they now prep for a home game on Friday with Cheney. Cheney will come into the game 3-1 after beating Pratt 43-21 on Friday.

            Andale took charge from the start scoring twice in the first quarter and three times in the second to go into the halftime break with a 35-0 lead over the Vikings.

            Smoky Valley gave up three more touchdowns before Kade Blanchat broke loose for a 78-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter, keeping the Vikings from being shutout.

            The Vikings recorded just six first downs in the game as they went 0 for 10 on making any third down conversions. Smoky Valley ran 35 offensive plays for 166 yards while Andale covered 372 yard on 55 snaps while recording 27 first downs.

            Karson Pihl completed just one of eleven pass attempts for three yards while throwing a pair of interceptions.

            Thanks to his lengthy touchdown run late in the game, Kade Blanchat had a solid game rushing by picking up 112 yards on just seven carries.

            Defensively, Austin Sharp led the Vikings with 11 stops while Nolan Dauer recorded 7.5 and Karson Pihl had six.
