HUTCHINSON – The McPherson Middle School girls tennis team went on the road Tuesday to Hutchinson for a dual meet where the Junior Lady Pups scored a 10-2 team victory.

“Tonight, we changed up the partners in doubles and who was playing singles,” noted head coach Paul Reichenberger. “Yet we still produced really great results.”

In the singles matches, McPherson won six of eight battles with two of those wins coming with 6-0 shutouts by Quinn Liebl and Anne-Marie Holmes.

The Junior Lady Pups doubles tandems went undefeated on the day at 4-0 with the duos of Dragon Rodriguez and Piper Van Campen, Audra Sandbo and Breanna Sullivan, plus Hayden Eveland and Liz Britting all winning unscathed at 6-0.

Coach Reichenberger concluded his post-match reflections by adding, “the girls have shown all year that they are excellent teammates and tennis players. We are currently undefeated on the season and are looking to stay that way.”
