OAKLEY – By the play of quarterback Tanner Heckel and the legs of Samuel Shober plus a stingy defense, Inman scored a 47-0 shutout win on the road Friday at Oakley and claim a Class 1A Regional Championship.

Ranked number two in Class 1A, the Teutons are now 9-1 for the season as they prep to play in the state playoff quarterfinals next Friday by hosting Smith Center. Smith Center is ranked number nine in Class 1A and will bring an 8-2 record to the game after they shutout Sedgwick 28-0 on Friday.

Tanner Heckel scored on a one-yard run early to give Inman an 8-0 lead at the end of the first quarter before scoring on an 11-yard run and then connecting with Harrison Brunk for a 27-yard pass play for another score in the second quarter. With Samuel Shober also accounting for a score in the second quarter on a 19-yard run, the Teutons took a commanding 28-0 advantage into the halftime break.
