MOUNDRIDGE – On Friday, the Moundridge boys hosted Marion and dominated the first three quarters on their way to a decisive 20-point, 65-45 victory.

‘Unselfish basketball describes tonight’s play while having a solid commitment to the defensive end of the floor allowing us to decide this game early,” noted Wildcat head coach Vance Unrau. “Guys are always looking for an open teammate and an extra pass for a better shot.”
Logan Churchill led the Wildcats in scoring with 18 points while Barrett Moddelmog chipped in with 16 thanks to connecting on four three-pointers. Henry Hecox also reached double digits with 12 points and Alex Huddle had a strong game by nearly chipping in with eight points to go with a team high six rebounds.
As a team Moundridge connected on 59% of their shots from the field including three pointers and the team dished out 22 assists on 28 shots made led by Landon Kaufman with 12.
Coach Unrau concluded his post-game reflections by saying, “Next week will be a really big test as we go on the road to Bennington and Remington. They both only have one loss on the season.”
